A very healthy specimen of a Pandanus Tree (Pandanus tectorius). This one is growing on Yamba Point, and Pippi's Beach in the background. There are about 30 species of Pandanus in Australia, and this one is found along the eastern Australia coast between Port Macquarie and Cape York, and into the Torres Strait Islands as well.
